Up for sale here a highly collectible Omega Seamaster Jumbo sized dual reference 166.010/168.024 with its high end COSC Chronometer certified Cal.564 movement in near mint condition.

The dial is in near perfect condition with crisp lettering and a beautiful applied Omega logo that reflects light at brilliantly at the right angles. It comes with a set of high polished dauphine hands with black inserts that match perfectly with the applied hour indices around the dial. All of which coming together in a spectacular fashion to create a mesmerising light show on your wrist. Furthermore, it comes with its original Omega signed acrylic crystal as indicated by the tiny Omega logo etched onto the middle of the domed acrylic crystal.

Moving onto the case, the case comes in a mid sized Jumbo of 35mm in diameter which was considered slightly larger than the more common 34mm sized watches of its time. The case has been professionally polished to give it its beautiful mirror shine across the watch while leaving its sharp and defined edges. In addition, the watch comes with its original iconic Omega logo signed crown at the 3 o’clock position.

Moving onto the case-back, one will be able to see the iconic Omega Seamaster hippocampus logo. Surrounded by a beautiful mirror polish that could double as a pocket mirror. Inside the case is Omega’s well regarded Cal.564 automatic movement that has been certified to run at chronometer standards under the revered COSC association. Both watch has just been serviced in October 2024 by a professional watchmaker and runs at an excellent +1.0s/day, fitting within even the modern COSC chronometer standard of between -4.0s/day to +6.0s/day. All of this is no mean feat for a watch of this age, showcasing its excellent condition. Additionally, the 564 movement comes with a quickset date function. Where when you shift the crown from the second to third position the date moves forward once, and the process can be repeated till the correct date is shown. Do make sure not to use the quickset date feature when the time is between 9pm to 3am. The watch comes on a sleek black aftermarket crocodile leather strap with its original Omega stainless steel clasp.
