Starting with the dial, as mentioned the dial comes with a beautiful sunburst finish. Paired together with a perfectly in line crosshair marking, creating a brilliant play under the right lighting conditions. On top of that the watch comes with a sleek set of faceted steel pencil shape hands which matches perfectly with the similar faceted applied steel hour indices across the dial. 

Protecting the dial is the original acrylic crystal, gently domed to enhance the watch’s vintage charm. The crystal remains clear and free from significant scratches, preserving the watch’s pristine appearance.

The stainless steel case measures a substantial 37.0mm in diameter, considered oversized for its era, offering a commanding presence on the wrist. The case has been professionally polished, restoring its mirror-like shine while maintaining the sharp, defined edges characteristic of the 7951-2 reference. At the 3 o’clock position, the original Longines signed crown is present, seamlessly integrating with the case design.

Turning the watch over reveals the screw-down case back, ensuring durability and protection for the movement within. The case back maintains its original contours and finish,  with the iconic Ultra-Chron logo on the back.

At the heart of this timepiece lies Longines’ renowned Caliber 431 automatic movement, operating at a high frequency of 36,000 beats per hour. This movement was celebrated upon its release in 1967 for its exceptional accuracy, often advertised as “the world’s most accurate watch.” The watch has been recently serviced in March 2025 by a professional watchmaker and runs at an excellent rate of +3.0s/day, fitting within modern chronometer standards. 

The Caliber 431 features a semi-quickset date function, allowing the date to be advanced by moving the hands between 10 PM and midnight. Please note that the movement does not hack, and care should be taken when setting the date to avoid using this feature between 9 PM and 3 AM.

Free shipping is provided via SingPost with tracking. Will take 2-3 working days to deliver domestically in Singapore. Overseas locations may take anywhere between 4-16 working days depending on the location, shipping will also be done via SingPost.

As this watch is a vintage watch, we will not be able to guarantee its water resistance. Hence it is best to keep the watch away from any form of water and humidity, and store the watch with a dry tissue paper or silica gel packet nearby to draw moisture away from the watch. We will not be liable if any water damage is done to the watch
